Oh yeah. Baby.
So I've been around for awhile now in various places online; most of the same galleries that a lot of folks have frequented, although I grew tired of the relentless flood of horrific fan art that drowned out anything of quality (if you've been there, you know the places I'm referring to without me having to name them). I had vowed never to return to the online art gallery scene, but after a friend sent me here, I felt this place could be different. Thus, I introduce myself to you.
I'm Jon Ponikvar, the author of "Peter and Company," a happy little family-safe comic strip that has been published online (and a couple other places) for about a year now in its current incarnation. I'm a traditional artist specializing in sequential art. My mediums-of-choice are ink line renderings, ink wash and watercolor. I have a second comic project entitled "The Chronicles of Ademar" which is a less-than-family-safe ink washed graphic novel. The first book is currently in production.
So yeah, that's about it. Anything else you want to know about me can be found out through e-mail or IM's. I'll always talk to anyone who contacts me, so feel free to hound me with comments, even if they're negative. I'm a student at SCAD so I am quite used to soul-crushing critiques.
